Report on water quality of bathing beach Arcadian Village
The responsibility for monitoring beach Arcadian village has the Monitoring Directorate of the Central Water Authority (K.K.Y.) with the participation of the Prefecture of Arcadia (GG 1695/V/2-12-2005).
Under Directive 76/160/EEC, from all bathing beaches, including ours, have samples of water per 15 days from May to October and sent to the appropriate laboratories for analysis.
On analysis, the quality of water and whether or not harmful to the bather substances and microbes. Specifically sought the presence of faecal coliforms and faecal streptococci origin and substances such as oils, phenols, tar etc.

Having studied all the annual results of our beach (the sampling of the Arcadian began in 2003), it follows that the quality of bathing water was always clean and even excellent (GI) category A, and never appeared anywhere inconsistent with prohibitive limits of Directive 76/160/EEC.
The inhabitants of the Arcadian Village can always contact the Ministry of Environment - which is responsible - for more information, clarification or to express any grievances.
The results of measurements are required in the European Union and notified for the information of both Greeks and foreigners from other countries. They may also consult the websites http://www.edpp.gr or http://iason.minenv.gr/akti for more detailed information.
From this year, the bulletin board of our village will be posted by the Board the results of analysis of our beach to take note, all stakeholders.
