In 1983, the American Federation Panarcadian by request asked the Greek government to grant public land to establish a village holiday homes Arcadia Expatriates. After strenuous efforts of the Diaspora and especially the cooperation of Panarcadian Federations United States and Canada, the Greek government approved the request, deeming such a settlement would be necessary mainly for reasons of national, social, cultural and economic.

ON June 15, 1988, granted a coastal area of 605 acres in Little Repontina position of the Municipality of North Kynourias in Arcadia. The Greek government instructed the D.E.PO.S. (Public Housing and Housing) to undertake the project. Then the D.E.PO.S invited expatriates to buy land in Arcadia Village, to be built from scratch an entire village consisting of about 350 houses with modern organization, planning and infrastructure.

The first responders and other expatriates from their money, invested, and fulfill their dream of acquiring a residence in Greece. The first 100 homes were the first phase of the project, paradothikan 1994.
